Garden Magic Mix contains Blue, Light Yellow and Cherry petchoa. The components are packaged and shipped together, so you can stick them in the same container to create these sensational color combos. We never had to deadhead the plants – EVER. SuperCal offers 3-color mixes that have been trialed and proven to grow well together. For the end user, the good news is they performed exceptionally well in high heat and direct sun! The claim of self-cleaning was evident in our trials throughout the summer. The advantage for growers is the SuperCal’s can be grown cool, so that’s a nice energy savings. Larger blooms than the regular petchoa add drama when grown together or mixed with grasses. Heat tolerant and no deadheading required. Our unusually hot and dry summer really put this series to the test, and I must say we were very pleased with the overall results. A cross between calibrachoa and petunia to give flower power all summer long without the stickiness of petunia. What makes SuperCal unique is that they’re a genetic cross between the Petunia and Calibrachoa genera. The ability to thrive in full or part sun. Petchoa Supercal Series flowers all have a spread of 12-16 inches, requiring a space of 12-15 inches to properly grow, and an optimal height of 10-14 inches. Now that the growing season has begun for next spring, it’s definitely worth revisiting the SuperCal series as they continue to grow in demand and popularity.
